| Introduction | I was born and raised in Hawaii and am currently living in Portland, Oregon. Growing up in Hawaii, food was a way of bringing family and friends together. People in Hawaii LOVE their food! I like to think that I'm continuing this tradition from afar! I love meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. Food is my spirit animal! I love to eat and try new cuisines. I love to cook and bake (but hate the clean up). I’m addicted to food channels, kitchen gadgets, yummy restaurants, the Farmer's Market, and food adventures. I love to take recipes and recreate them. I'm a firm believer in sustainability and knowing where your food comes from. When the weather gets warm, you'll find me in the garden. I love the success of harvesting your own crops grown from your own hard work! I am growing in Zone 8b. I occasionally do arts and crafts. I love photography and traveling. My favorite travel destinations thus far have been Mexico, Italy, Japan, Thailand, Greece, France, Vietnam, Cambodia and Guatemala. I think they're my favorites because of the food!
