| Introduction | The Ramadhan Foundation was established to bring the educational and welfare needs of the Muslim community to the forefront of the community’s thoughts. There aim is to have in place the structures and institutions to prepare future generations with the necessary skills and knowledge to take on the challenges of this new era. The Foundation was officially launched at the inaugural Muslim Unity Convention held on Sunday 7th August 2005. The Convention was held at the magnificent and world famous Bridgewater Hall in Manchester. Over two thousand people came together to witness for the first time UK history the Ramadhan Foundation taking the initiative and leadership of uniting Muslims in the UK under one umbrella. |
