Introduction	I truly love watching young little faces light up when they create something. The positive energy exchange that children give me is why I have been happily teaching elementary art for ten years now. Most of these have been here with the fantastic Timber Ridge family! I'm originally from southern California and Pennsylvania. I went to college at Penn State where I obtained my degree in art education. Eventually, I moved here with my husband twenty three years ago. I have two daughters (Jessica and Christine) that are in college now. Along with my daughters, I have two pet cockatil birds and a lovable old dog named Molly. I enjoy traveling, gardening, kayaking and anything outdoors. I also love taking art classes and trying out new mediums. Some of my favorites have been glass fusing and pastels. I hope to pass my skills onto your children through my class. Mrs. Herndon
