Introduction | Welcome to the Jersey City Observer! I'm David Gibson, principal and cofounder of Two Twelve, a New York graphic design firm; author of The Wayfinding Handbook: Information Design for Public Places; and brand-new blogger. Throughout my 30-plus-year career, I have leveraged the power of design to transform people’s experience of public space. I studied architecture at Cornell University, attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, received an MFA in graphic design from Yale University, served as president and board member of the Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD), and recently completed a term on the National Board of the AIGA, the professional association for design. I currently live in Jersey City with my partner, Rich, and an ever-expanding garden. |
