| Introduction | Born in Brooklyn NYC, Survived a screwy family. Enlisted right after HS to get away from those people. Spent 4 years in the USN leaving in 1967 as a Sonar Technician (STG2). Being tired of USN chicken shit I enlisted in the USAF and stayed for eighteen years. Retiring from the AF in 1985 meant being able to make the male to female transsexual change. The defining surgery was in 1987. In order to start a new life I moved up here to Portland, OR and after a couple of years of college I worked in the telecommunications industry until 2001. I retired and am now among the happily unemployed. I live with another woman. We have been a couple since 1990. All in all, its been one hell of an incarnation. |

The first time you had your shoes taken off - how surprised were you to see that you still had toes?
One time I expected to lose some toes to frostbite after working on a mountain top in sub-zero weather. Fortunately all ten are still attached
