| Introduction | Hello, my name is Chandra Welte, Chan, and in November I celebrated my 40th birthday. I am a special education teacher at Grant County high school. I really love teaching and enjoy the relationships I build with students. My husband and I live in Walton, Ky with our two daughters, Caitlin and Olivia. Caitlin is in the 7th grade and Olivia is in the 4th grade. During the summer and any time we have an extended weekend we travel. As a family we have visited all but 5 states and been to Puerto Rico, Bahamas, and many destinations in Mexico. I look forward to blogging with everyone and think this will be lots of fun. |

| Favorite music | I like all music. In my mind I am a terrific singer and I think Olivia would agree. Caitlin just laughs and rolls her eyes. I am not sure if she thinks I am horrible or just an embarrassment. |
| Favorite books | My current reading selection consists of whatever is required by the 2 online courses I am taking. But when I do get the time I would like to continue with Oprah's picks. |
