| Introduction | George Ladas b.1936, received a BS from Cornell University, and a BPA from the Art Center College of Design; studied film art direction at USC ; etching with Jules Heller; and painting with Jack Potter. Designed products, packaging and illustrated for agencies including J W Thompson, BBDO, Young & Rubicam and the Coleman Group with clients such as Hasbro, General Foods, Corning and Carnation;. Creative head at Continuum, NY, ( Architectural Timepieces ), taught Film and Advertising Illustration at NYIT ; Advertising Design at Pratt, Manhattan. Contributed technical and editorial illustrations to the Newark Museum, NASA -Hubble Space Telescope, New York Zoological Society, and Franklin Library, FAO Schwarz 47’ animated Trojan horse in the Forum, Las Vegas, NV. Exhibited at the Society of Illustrators, Arts Council of Great Britain, group and one man shows, permanent collection MoMA - Art and Architecture. Currently living in NJ. |
