Introduction	I started this blog when I was forty; that was a major turning point year. Apparently, things are still turning, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Life is meant to be lived-and lived out loud. I think I'm doing that. The most important thing about me is I have three amazing boys. I do other stuff too-like teach students...um...I think there's other stuff other than mom and teacher, but I'm not quite sure what they are.
Interests	Reading Listening to Music Watching my kids swim; they're beautiful! Hanging with my girls at the pool during the summer and planning on hanging with my girls at the pool during the winter.
Favorite Movies	John Hughes '80s stuff-(like "The Breakfast Club" and "Pretty in Pink"), "Reality Bites", "Rachel Getting Married", "A River Runs Through It"-everything, everything, and everything
Favorite Music	Mazzy Star, Ingrid Michaelson, Emily Hurd, Dave Matthews Band, Venus Hum, Rasputina, Sarah McLachlan, Bob Dylan, Tom Waits, Leonard Cohen, The Pogues, Muse, Peter Murphy, Over the Rhine, um...lots of stuff....everything...these are my current favorites.
Favorite Books	"A Tree Grows in Brooklyn", "Eat. Pray. Love", "Consequences", almost everything at one time or another-that includes yound adult literature. I LOVE reading that stuff.
