| Introduction | I have been the librarian at the Hebrew Academy of Morris County since 2001. When I first started the library was being built with new shelving, new furniture and the collection was very small. We currently have over 8,000 books and the collection is growing. I am very proud of the library and know the students love having a library with the newest and best books available. I make an effort to buy books that will enhance the curriculum and help them in any research or reports they may need to do. If you haven't seen our library, come visit. I am here on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Research shows that school libraries have a positive impact on student achievement and inspire literacy (NCLIS, 2005). |
