| Introduction | I am just a simple housewife. And I am also a Buddhist priest, ordained in the Shingon tradition in Japan. I have been a career mother for over thirty years and my spiritual practice has always revolved around everyday life in the home and especially the kitchen. It has been my blessed fortune to have met many wonderful teachers along the way from all over the world who freely shared their wisdom with me.
