| Introduction | Having had a varied career ranging from the arts to sciences I am now technically retired. Summers are far too short, we go sailing and enjoy the varied light and reflections. Winters have been spent painting watercolours with an emphasis on representing light and reflections. This blog will chart my voyage of discovery back into the worlds of glass, design and sculpture. The picture in the blog banner is one of my watercolours of old Istanbul from across the Bosphorus - chosen because the shape fitted with just a little mirroring. Winter is probably the best time to visit the museums of the old city of Istanbul as they are a lot less crowded - but it can be cold and wet. |
