| Introduction | I live in a city and work on some really regular stuff. But I know there is an alter life happening somewhere in the Himalayas, in a nicely heated cottage, on a small meadow, through which a stream runs. Where on one side an orchard stands (protecting the house from the sharp winds) and on the other side there is a dramatic view of the green mountains capped with silver peaks. Oh yes, we (the dearest husband and me) grow organic herbs, fruits and veggies for a living! And I write brilliantly funny novels, once in a while. If we walk down a twisty path, we have some lovely Pahari neighbours who invite us over for tea and let us into all the local gossip. In the mornings we tend to our farm. Later Husband takes care of the wood stock and general maintenance; I cook lovely organic meals. Occasionally, when we feel really anguished by a cause we grab our equipment and trundle down to the 'real' world and shoot soul stirring documentaries (the post production will happen in our lil' heaven on the hills). Well, that’s me, schizophrenic? No, just very hopeful. |
