IntroductionI have always felt a compulsion to write. It is an important part of who I am. I am married for over 50 years to my high school sweetheart who met me in Hawaii for a military wedding on my R&R from Vietnam. We have three wonderful sons. My mother was a Wilson, born in the old Moore Community near Ojibway in Wayne County, MO, my father a Ragan of Hardeman County, TN. My favorite places to be are the Florida Keys (lived within 30 minutes for 10 years) and any time I can spend in Wayne County, Missouri (the place of so many childhood memories). I love retirement with Sandy, my wife, and any time on the water I can spend fishing and exploring with my brother Ken, sons and grandchildren.
InterestsWriting, Genealogical Research, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, University of KY basketball, fishing, fly tying, raised bed and container gardening, Native American history, Archaeology and artifact collecting.
Favorite moviesThe Outlaw Josie Wales, Lonesome Dove, Jeremiah Johnson, The Unforgiven, The Mission, Last of the Dogmen. The original Pink Panther. Apocalypse Now, The Patriot, Braveheart, Shogun,Father Goose.
