| Introduction | I'm 53 years old and worked for almost 30 years as a legal secretary, before being forced to retire early due to a heart condition. I love gardening, but since I'm a bit limited as to what I can actually do out there these days, I thought now might be as good a time as any to start writing about gardening instead and to share my experience and expertise (such as it is) with others. Hopefully, through their feedback, I'll be able to enjoy their gardening triumphs vicariously - even though my own little piece of Eden might be getting more neglected than I'd like of late. |

| Favorite movies | Love a good, rollicking comedy - all the Monty Python films, The Full Monty, Rock of Ages, School of Rock - oh, and mustn't forget Brassed Off, even though it doesn't really fit in this category. |
| Favorite music | Anything by The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac, or from the sixties. Also love folk and country. |
| Favorite books | An avid Ian Rankin fan - he doesn't write them quickly enough for me! |
