| Introduction | Welcome to Zero Sum Gamer! Me myself, I (Gamertag 'LDN Doc'). And I'm a bit confused. I'm sat in front of a computer upon which I could be playing games, thinking up long words when I should be doing something more productive (and certainly less egocentric). As it goes I'm writing about my gaming life which... and herein lies the rub... ironically seems more productive than gaming itself. How can something tributary to an actual hobby be more worthwhile? How often do you think Rafa Nadal gets home and feeling guilty about winning his 3rd Grand Slam this year, has a little cry into his pillow like a 6 foot manbaby and then writes about it to make himself feel better? Zero times. The reference is obviously flawed. I dont make 7 figures a year playing Battlefield but the point just about stands. Rafa Nadal is rich and I feel bad playing xbox. I cant win. And unless you’re Rafa Nadal, you cant win either my friend. Its a zero sum game. |
