Location The foothills of Mt. Rainier, Washington State, United States
Introduction While working as a climbing guide on Mt. Rainier and around the world, Adam began capturing images of the fantastic locations that he visited. “In the beginning I wanted to show people what we saw on expeditions and try to bring a little of the magic home to them. I soon realized that the real magic is in the humanity that you encounter while traveling the world. We are all climbing a mountain, that’s life. Lessons learned in the mountains help us get the most out of every day.” Today Adam Angel Photography revolves around people. It is a blend of images from the world at large and an active studio, gallery, and teaching space. Adam is based in the Pacific Northwest where he owns and operates the Mt. Rainier Institute of Photography. He continues to guide in Tanzania, Nepal, and Tibet, and leads photography workshops in partner with his long time employer International Mountain Guides.
