Introduction I was raised on an organic farm in Western Massachusetts where my family grew and harvested acres of flowers every summer. As a child I made patterns and sewed my clothes, hand bound little books with my own marbled paper, and studied classical ballet for hours every day. At eighteen anxious to see the world I headed west. Seattle, Santa Barbara, Martha’s Vineyard, and Santa Fe were some of the places I found my home for the next several years. After several years as a studio slave for other artists I began to create my own work in a myriad of materials - fabric, wood, steel, clay, gold and silver. In 2001 I settled down in New England with my dear mountain man on our 50 acre farm in the woods. We were soon blessed with twin boys. Though I do occasionally make it down to my jewelry studio I have found a new excitement in handcrafting items for children from recycled felted wool. I love sewing beautiful things for wee ones!
