IntroductionDevangi Dalal is an Indian Audiologist and Speech-Language Pathologist with over 33+years of experience. She is Centre Director Hearing Hearts - An advanced centre for hearing, speech and health management. She is also one of the Founder - Trustee of JOSH Foundation - which works for underprivileged hearing impaired children and so far have helped more than 2000+ children. She is the first Indian to win the Humanitarian award from the America Academy of Audiology (AAA) in 2012 in the USA. She is the only Indian Audiologist appointed as an Hearing Health Advocate for the CGHH which is an association of WHO to promote public awareness regarding hearing health. She is also a liaison member of Make Listening Safe group of World Hearing Forum. Focused on spreading awareness on hearing health awareness she has launched a campaign titled "Change is Hear" featuring two films aimed at raising awareness about hearing impairment and the right technology to combat it. The first film, ‘Early Matter: For a Better Future’ emphasises the importance of neonatal screening and early diagnosis, ensuring that children receive the right treatment and rehabilitation at the right time. The second film, ‘A Sound Start: For a Better Living,’ showcases how using the right technology can empower adults and young professionals to lead fulfilling lives. She also hopes to create a reality show featuring individuals with hearing impairments, giving them a platform to share their experiences with a wider audience. Devangi Dalal is also an author of several books and articles. She writes in multiple languages and has written, 3 books on "Spreading Positivity" in English, 2 In Gujarati titled "Jagyatyarthi Sakaratmakta" and 1 in Hindi titled "Sakaratmak Jivan Shaili". Through her writings too she tries creating awareness about hearing health and guides people who are suffering from hearing problems. For this also she has written two books titled "Kuch Suna Aapne" in Hindi and "Chalo Badhirone Samhalta Kariye" in Gujarati. Her articles in various newspapers are aimed at spreading a message of positive thinking and have a positive approach towards life. She highly promotes Inclusivity of hearing impaired children, she says, "World will aspire to the beauty of kindness if we make specially-abled children equally inclusive in our society." Being a devotee of Lord Krishna she has written and sung song "Radha Chali".
