Introduction	Monica Mack is a Texas native who traveled to Wisconsin in 2005. She graduated from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Peck School of the Arts in 2009 with a B.A. Degree in General Art. Monica knew that she wanted to be an artist from the moment she made her first still life pencil drawing at age four. It wasn't until she was in college that she learned of her love for oil painting. Her influences are artists such as Henri Matisse, Frank Stella and Georgia O'Keefe- just to name a few. Monica enjoys capturing the viewer with her fun, creative and abstract style. Her emotions can be seen through the use of vibrant colors and intense movement created with energetic lines, shapes and richly layered paint. As a well rounded artist, Monica incorporates items such as recyclable materials, CD cases, fabrics, sticks and other little inspirations to create lively artwork. She shapes her life around her personal philosophy that anything can have a new identity when given the freedom and second chance to become part of something new.
