| Introduction | Akinwumi is a professional with specific interests in idea development, Human resource development and business coaching. His membership spans across the borders of change-making forums like the World Bank Youth Forum in Nigeria. In November 2008, he was outsourced as one of the professionals involved in training about 48,000 pupils and 5,000 teachers in Oyo state on mentoring under the project RAISE(Revive Academic Excellence in our Schools and Educational Institutions) platform. Following his performance at the 2009 edition of DIGITEST camp (the largest ICT creative camp for young people in sub Saharan Africa), he was invited by Digital Peers International (organiser of DIGITEST) to serve as the structure and competition manager in the 2010 edition of DIGITEST Nigeria. In September 2010, he was invited to work with the Nigerian Office of the African Women and Youth Organisation (headquartered in Berlin, Germany) where he currently manages the employability and entrepreneurship programmes. Akinwumi holds a Bachelors degree in Medical Physiology. |
