| Introduction | I'm an award-winning professional journalist and "jewelry insider," writing about fine jewelry and gems. My specialties are design and fashion trends, American designers, luxury, and Italian brands. I've been honored by the fine jewelry industry with: The Women's Jewelry Association Award for Excellence in Editorial/Reporting/Publishing; The Italian Trade Commission Italian Jewelry Award in Journalism; and America's Contemporary Design Group High Achievement Award for Best Designer Advocate.
