Introduction	My name is Rosie Chinea Shawver. I am a professional lay minister in the Catholic Church. What does this mean? First it means that I have a calling to work in the Church. Impelled by the Holy Spirit through prayer I decided that my vocation is to work with people so to bring them closer to Christ. I am called and charged to help all peoples get closer to Christ. I am currently the executive director at the Catholic Campus Ministry Association. I absolutely love this ministry! Random information about me: I was born in Oxnard, CA on June 25. I love my family tremendously. I am in love with the man of my dreams, Mike Shawver. We got married in June 2010. We have a beautiful, smart and strong daughter, Sofia Rose, who was born in April 2011. I am passionate about God, love, the Eucharist, traveling, and social justice.
