| Introduction | Both born and raised in Charlotte, NC, and vegans since 2008, my husband David and I ditched city life in favor of a cabin on ten acres in the woods of Western NC, overlooking a rushing river dotted with beautiful boulders. We don't miss ambient light, sounds of bars and streets, neighborly feuds, or even fast food chains around the corner. Our nights are bathed in moonlight, the only sounds we hear are birds and waterfalls, our only neighbors are cows, and our meals are homecooked, sometimes with ingredients from our garden. We are parents to five rescued dogs. |
