| Introduction | I was born in Barrie, Ontario, Canada. I became a Christian at the ripe old age of three and felt a call to Africa when I was five. After graduating from high school I became involved in a Christian drama ministry through which I traveled extensively throughout North America for the following six years. At that point I was given the opportunity to serve within that same ministry in Africa thus fulfilling a life's dream and call. While serving in Zimbabwe, Zambia and Malawi, I had the opportunity to work with the man who later became my husband. After serving for two years in Nigeria, I returned to North America to be married. Following our wedding, we received a call to continue on in our ministry in South and Central America. After six years of travel there, we established a regional office of our ministry in Bogota, Colombia where we have remained ever since. At this point in my life I am working through a transition of ministries and hoping to broaden my horizons, put to better use some of my personal gifts and allow the desires of my heart to be brought to fruition. |
