Introduction I always collected stamps in the classic way, dividing them "by country". Internet and the growing on-line stamps community gave me the chance to enlarge quickly my collections of Europe and South-East Asia used stamps, even if I'm that kind of meticulous collector who seeks only round cancelled stamps. After year of this "regular" stamp collecting activity, I suddenly felt the need to customize my collection focusing on philatelic issues related with the fascinating world of the underwater fauna. Sponges, medusae, corals, sea anemones, gastropods, bivalves, crabs, lobsters, shrimps, starfishes, sea-urchins, fishes and all the other marine invertebrates are the main topics of my MNH marine-life collection; the only restriction is that the stamps must have been issued by Antarctic Dependencies, British Indian Ocean Territory, Comores, Maldives, Seychelles or by the Pacific Islands mentioned in the title of the blog.
