| Introduction | Hello, my name is Alvin and i am an aspiring professional artist based in London. My educational background is in menswear design, however my true passion is fine arts and in my spare time i like to draw and paint, when i have the time.I tend to focus more on portraiture and fashion illustration. With my portrait studies, i try to capture my subjects likeness through a fine arts style.With my illustrations, i try to capture exaggerated glamour through a caricature-like style.I do not really have a definitive style to my work as i am constantly trying to discover different methods and techniques and mediums to work with. I am always looking to learn from anywhere, from youtube, books, attending short-courses, etc. I also like to search for inspiration anywhere, galleries, museums, social media, books, magazine, music, on my walks, or travelling to work, etc. |
