Introduction	I am a mother, daughter, sister and wife; but most importantly I am a child of God. I recently left my job as a teacher working with children with special needs to be a stay at home mom. I stayed at home for 4 years before going back to work, and I honestly didn't think I would ever stay home again. But, along came McKenna and I just knew that my place was at home taking care of her. I quickly realized that no one would take care of my baby like me. You see, McKenna has cystic fibrosis, a genetic lung disease. She requires a lot of extra special care and I needed to be the one to give it to her. I also have 2 other daughters. Aryana is 6 and enjoying her first year school. Nevaeh is 3 and attends headstart. She too enjoys school. My husband is a cabinet maker, running his own business. My life has been transformed in the past six years of being a mom. It is a demanding, rewarding, fulfilling, challenging, lovely, never-ending job. I wouldn't change a thing if I could....except for finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.
