| Introduction | Im first and foremost a mother to two fantastically inquisitive daughters and a wife of a hungry husband whom all have an interest in baking and especially trying out the new concotions. I am a part time practice nurse which allows me to fulfil my passion for baking and providing rounded family meals with traditional and experimental recipes, ie My Green Thai Curry Pie. In November 2010 I met my all time baking idol - unconventially to some - Nigella Lawson. I find her recipes, cookbooks and blog recipes just divine and they have a lovely homely quality. |
| Interests | Im an avid baker with an initial interest in baking cupcakes, however as my children have grown up Ive found many different interests in baking. I love using many different mediums especially choux pastry, by trying to create new and tempting recipes. I love whoopie pies and have a very big fascination with American baking, especially seasonal bakes such as Pumpkin Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, Apple Pie and Cherry Pie. I love the quirkiness of America traditions and baking history with campfire traditions like S'mores. |
