| Introduction | Is it possible to accurately describe who a person is with the limited vocabulary that we express? Most would describe themselves by the accomplishments in life or the positive words that highlight the best in our character, but is that who we truly are? Or maybe it is the roles we have taken on in society that makes us who we are. If so, then I am a George Fox graduate, a wife to my beloved and bestfriend, a photographer, a sister, a friend, an aunt, a director, a writer etc. Though these titles could shine light on that question of who I am, it is not what defines me. I am defined by my faith. I am the daughter of the Most High. I live my life according to this: my wrong doings I have committed and continue to commit because I am not perfect sentence me to death. It is because of the love and mercy of my Heavenly Father that I live. He paid the price for me to live eternally with Him in heaven. It is because of this act that I live my life according to Him. It is because of His unconditional love and acceptance that I serve Him. It is because of all this and so much more that truly defines me as a person. |
