Introduction	I became a teacher so I could write. And up to this point,after five years of teaching, I haven't written a damn thing. So this is a way for me to "exercise" my ability. I have so many ideas, but none that I ever get down on page. Hopefully by using this blog, I will find my voice on paper again.
Interests	Writing, Reading, Relaxing on the beach, volleyball, teaching, anything outdoors.
Favorite movies	Lost in Translation, The Royal Tennenbaums, The Life Aquatic, Kill Bill Vol.2, The Virgin Suicides, A Thin Red Line, Anchorman, House of Sand and Fog, any documentary.
Favorite music	I will listen to anything but country. I have a hard time picking a favorite.
Favorite books	Beach Music, Saving Fish From Drowning, The Awakening, I Know This Much is True, She's Come Undone, Heaven Lake, The Sun Also Rises, Marley and Me, The Time Traveler's Wife, The Kite Runner, etc.etc.etc.
