| Introduction | Hi, I'm Matt and I sing, dance, write and play songs for a band called The Classic Crime and sometimes Vocal Few. In my spare time I write songs and read books. Back in late 2008 I started to feel like I should write more of my thoughts down, but after a few half pages of illiterate chicken scratch in my journal I resorted to this blog. I figured it would be motivation for me to make my ideas coherent and to practice proper grammar (with the help of spell check). It is my hope that with the knowledge that someone might be reading along I will be forced to trim the fat off of my ideas and diction. I am from Seattle. Hence, the name "The Jet City Filter." "The Jet City" being a nickname for my home town (because of Boeing), and "Filter" being what I am attempting to do with my thoughts. Thanks for participating in my growth as a human being. I hope you can be blessed and enlightened by something you read on this blog, or if anything, that it spurns a decent conversation. |
