| Introduction | I think it started well before I ever got an Easy Bake oven. I was about 6, back in 1965. I remember my neighbor, Judy and I, walking through my backyard to the local Sears store (that's right, where were our PARENTS?) and eyeing up all the Easy Bake oven mixes and pans in the toy department. At 6, we were klepto's and managed to steal several mixes and pans by shoving them down our pants. We took them to Judy's house and used the rain from the gutters to mix them. Then we took them down the street to another neighbor's house and left them on their doorstop. And so it began, my love affair with baking.... |
