Introduction	For 35 years I’ve been in the Information Management field, including Information Strategy, Data Governance, Master Data Management, Metadata Management, Data Quality, Big Data Analytics, Data Integration & Data Virtualisation, DW/BI. I’ve worked across many sectors globally including a big 5 Consultancy where I established the International Data Management specialist practice. As an independent Information Strategist I am passionate about my mission to help organisations genuinely treat information as a real corporate asset. This involved establishing various Data Services, developing Enterprise wide Data Management and Governance strategies and evangelising the IM message to Executive management worldwide. I’m a member of the MPO and Director of DAMA, author of DMBoK 2.0 sections plus holder at “master” level and examiner for the CDMP certification. I co-authored “Data Modelling For The Business – A Handbook for aligning the business with IT using high-level data models” & also author the Information Asset Management “Expert channel” on the BeyeNETWORK. Outside of IM my interests are motor racing, and have built & compete a Lotus 7 type car
