| Introduction | I’m a 44 year old runner and live in Freiburg in the south of Germany. After having spent 15 years in the US, I was thoroughly disillusioned and decided to turn my back on materialistic world and move to Southwest Germany, where I could live out my passion for alpine walking, running, ultra-running and adventure ultra-marathons. A passion that has taken me to innumerous local and international walking, running, ultra and adventure marathon events all over the world, including a marathon and additional five days of running on the Great Wall of China and two Marathon des Sables in the south Moroccan Sahara - the ultimate running challenge.
