| Introduction | I grew up in southern California, attended UCLA and earned my PhD in zoology at the University of Washington in 1991. I have been on the faculty at College of the Atlantic since 1994, and I teach a variety of courses in biology. My favorite class is always the one I'm currently teaching. |
