IntroductionThis is the space where I am supposed to tell you all about me. I started to write something out but I almost fell asleep doing it. There's really not that much to tell about me that's very interesting, and like John the Baptist said, I must decrease that God might increase anway! But if you are starved enough for something to do to still want to read about me, feel free to check out my profile, and be sure to grab a cup of coffee while you read so you don't fall into a boredom-induced coma!
InterestsMy God, my family, the Bible, writing, theology, health and nutrition, natural medicine, fitness, music, songwriting, Indianapolis Colts football, guitar, my Stratocaster, and my Taylor acoustic, I love to be with my family, and enjoying a hot cup of herbal tea by the fire, Christian apologetics, enriching others with knowledge and wisdom, being enriched by the wisdom and knowledge of others.
Favorite moviesBraveHeart. I love William Wallace's (Mel Gibson) cry for "FREEDOM!!" just before he was executed. Living for a cause greater than yourself; that's what it's all about. I also really like a low-budget Christian "B" movie called, Fly Wheel, about a used car salesman's conversion to Christ. It represents what true repentance really is. Another great Christian movie is, The Last Sin Eater, a wonderful story of redemption and the power of the gospel message.
Favorite musicWorship music, like Darrell Evans, Paul Baloche, Caedmon's Call, and, Chris Tomlin, I also like some contemporary country, and the occasional bluegrass, Steven Curtiss Chapman, Petra, Keith Green, hymns, Elvis Presley gospel, Phil Keaggy.
Favorite booksThe Bible, The Imitation of Christ by Thomas aKempis, The Pursuit of Holiness by Jerry Bridges, The Practice of Godliness by Jerry Bridges, Rags to Riches by Tom Leding, Blessed Beyond Measure by Gloria Copeland, Loving God by Charles Colson, The Three Battle Grounds by Francis Frangipane. All these I've read numerous times.
