| Introduction | Formerly, I commented using "SBronxNYC". Until that account somehow vanished from existence a while back. I am a native of New York City having grown up in The Bronx (right next to the "picturesque..." (ahem) Harlem River), and having worked in Manhattan in Rockefeller Center as well as the original World Trade Center. I now find myself 800 miles away. I am not sure how long I will stay here. I relate to the NYC of the mid ‘50s through ‘70s. Since then, it seems to have lost its nitty-gritty, bare-knuckles, tough edge that molded my personality during my youth into my early adulthood. Where I go from here probably depends on many factors, including what tropical beach locales may call to me. |
