Introduction | I am a life-long learner, with a multitude of interests - naturalist, artist, teacher, writer. I believe we each have a uniqe view of the world and I enjoy sharing mine. We each have particular gifts and a purpose for being - it is our job to find, develop, and share those gifts. My home is whereever I am, but my heart will always be in Montana. I have sky in my soul, space in my heart... Each day offers new challenges AND opportunities; I prefer to look for the good in others. |
Interests | nature study, camping, hiking, photography, reading, writing, gardening, creative endeavors. |
Favorite Music | Country-Western, folk, ethnic, soft rock, some classical. |
Favorite Books | This House of Sky, Poisonwood Bible, Cross Creek, Clan of the Cave Bear (ALL of the Earth's Children series), Cold Mountain |
The children are waiting! Please tell them the story about the bald frog with the wig:
No longer happy just being a frog, Ribbit wanted a bigger pond to splash in. Watching the birds, squirrel, deer, and a lone coyote come to have a drink, she suddenly realized that she had no fur or feathers. She was bald! So she made herself a wig from dried grasses, moss, and pondweed - thinking that she would look more "worldly" and therefor BE such. Her mother was less than impressed.
