| Introduction | I have spent most of my life in the Bay Area and love it. I have been married for 10 years and both my husband and I finished school in 2005. After graduation we took our dream vacation to Europe and 9 months later Lucy was born! Lucy's little brother, Will, joined the family in 2010 and made us a family of four. Sponges and tongues are frequently misspelled. Is it because both are thirsty?
No, it is because the English language is lame. We have our Italian friend visiting us and he is forever frustrated with our pronunciation of words he has practiced over and over the wrong way. For example I'll is pronounced the same as aisle. Who in their right mind would say those two words the same if looking at them for the first time?
