Introduction I started knitting before I started Kindergarten and began sewing my own clothes when I was 12 and in 4-H. From there? I have learned every craft and technique that I can to add to my bag of tricks for sewing, teaching and creating unique items for friends, relatives and boutiques. I trained with a Danish drapery seamstress and can make draperies of any kind to order. I made draperies for most of the west-end of Brandon while working for Rooms Alive. When at Graduate School, I made draperies for Lady Eaton College's President's office and a few Dons' quarters. I took a quilting class in 9th grade and have been dabbling in creating and repairing quilts since then. Ah, so many needle arts to enjoy! Let me help you by making what you need or teaching you to enjoy a needle art you would like to learn. MJ Welch, Waif
