Introduction	If I were a book character, you might say… that I look like Viola Swamp; that I have a dog like Dogzilla; that I wear crisp cotton dresses like Nancy Drew; that I tell corny jokes like Hank Zipzer; that I live in a dream world like Moonbear; that I keep house like Hermit Crab; that I read books alive like Meggie’s dad in Inkheart; that I find school magical like Harry Potter; that I wish I could travel like Annie and Jack in Magic Tree House, but will settle for Stringbean’s Trip to the Shining Sea; and that like Miss Rumphius, I have lived by the sea (Savannah, GA) and traveled to far away places (46 US states, Canada, Guatemala, England, France, and Germany) and now I wish to do something to make the world more beautiful.
