Which is easier to make a model airplane out of and why: a banana peel or a wet sock?

In the short term the banana peel, of course, since fresh banana skins have some structure to them. However the question did not state what the sock was wet *with*. If it were, say, some sort of glue, the sock wins out in the end. You could shape it and leave it to dry while the banana peel turns to mush.
