| Introduction | Rev. Bren Gandy-Wilson, a native of Hamlet, NC, received her education in the public schools of North Carolina. She is a graduate of Monroe Avenue High School and holds both a Masters of Education degree from the University of West Georgia and a Masters of Divinity from Hood Theological Seminary in Salisbury, NC. Rev. Wilson was called into ministry in 1996. She was admitted into the Central North Carolina Conference of the A.M.E. Zion Church in 2005. She is now pastor of Faith Walk A.M. E. Zion Missions Church in Rockingham, N.C. Rev. Wilson has taught children and youth for over 20 years. A major part of her teaching technique involves storytelling for the purpose of helping to shape character and teach moral values. She is former host of the weekly Radio Bible Study program, "Walking By Faith." Rev. Wilson is the mother of three children, Lency Donnell, Veleka Laecolia and Eddie Bernard.
