| Introduction | Most importantly I am a mother of four, grandmother of one and happy to say that "life is good." As for my occupation, I am a licensed funeral director in the state of Ohio as well as an apprentice funeral director and embalmer in the state of Georgia. Working with the bereaved and those at the end stages of life are my passion. The beauty of life truly amazes me, so I never feel more alive than when I am staring death right in the face. Writing about my experiences with the bereaved has helped me to understand and recognize the beauty in each experience we are so blessed to be in the moment with. Every life tells a story, and every story holds the key to life's beauty. |
