| Introduction | I'm Mary Sue, mother to two very inquisitive little girls. After the birth of my first daughter I made the difficult decision to leave my job as the Lead Educator and Program Manager for Early Learning at the Chicago Children's Museum. Before the birth of my second daughter I worked part-time as a preschool director. Through my work, I developed a passion for writing reflections on children's play, advocating for best practice in ECE, authentic movement experiences, and creating rich environments that enable children to freely explore. I hope you'll join me as I reflect on and share my own unique journey as I grow and change alongside my most favorite teachers...my children. |
