| Introduction | I am loved with an everlasting love and saved by faith in Jesus. I am a wife to my High School Sweetheart and the mother of two awesome boys. A self taught cook with many flops & successes. All of my recipes come from my never ending cookbook collection, family recipes, magazines and blogs I follow. I am learning photography as I go along using my Nikon Coolpix digital camera. A gift from my husband to encourage my picture taking. Thank You! Creating delicious food and sharing it with family & friends is the best way to connect and feed our souls. Food gives us pleasure in the moment, comfort of our past and adventure for the future. Faith in God and my love of food has been my anchor in life. My blog is a way for me to journal my culinary adventures and thoughts, seeking treasures along my course to share with you. I love my family, going to church, boating on our nearby lake. Chocolate & pasta and sometimes together! The color red, spending together. One of the greatest pleasures I have is listening to my husband & sons make music with their guitars while I am making delicious food! |
