Introduction Armando Navarro's love of drawing started at the very young age of 4. He would always be seen with his sketchbook and pencil. In his youth, he attended various prestigious art academies. After graduating high school, he enrolled in the animation program at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario. Starting his career in Ottawa, Ontario in 1997, Armando's first job in the industry was drawing layouts on Franklin the Turtle. Since then, he has designed, supervised layouts and art directed on shows such as Toot & Puddle, Jimmy Two-Shoes, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, Wild Kratts and Camp Lakebottom, just to name a few. Armando has seen a lot of change in the 19 years that he has been in the industry. Coming from paper and pencil and the light table to computers and cintiqs, Armando still loves to draw and is very passionate about what he does and it shows. In his spare time, Armando enjoys woodworking, delivering cupcakes and everything baseball.
