Introduction	grew up in Western New York on the banks of the mighty Niagara. A third generation guide he was destined to be involved in the outdoor sports. His passion for the sport was fueled by the amazing fishing community and the monstrous fish that call its waters home. Matt has worked like so many others as the manager of a fly shop, guide and instructor and even dabbled in travel planning until forming Upland Outfitters to pursue his passion for fishing, traveling, guiding and fly tying full time. Matt is a member of the Rob's Realistics pro staff as well as the pro staff for Nymph Heads.
