| Introduction | I am a senior researcher doing extensive research in the field of urban governance in Maharashtra. I have done indepth research on Functioning of Wards Committees in Maharashtra which has been published in the book People's Participation in Urban Governance published by Concept Publishers, New Delhi. I have also submitted papers and contributed in several workshops organised bv All India Institute for Local Self Government on 74th Constitutional Amendment. I have done research on Governance in 3 cities Mumbai, Nagpur and Nashik and evaluated the implementation of 74th Constitutional Amendment which has been published in Maharashtra Social Watch Report 2010. I have done research projects along with YUVA, Institute of Social Sciences New Delhi and Centre for Policy Research, New Delhi. |
