| Introduction | Dave and I met in the spring of 2000 when he spotted electric blue spaghetti straps across a crowded room, and the rest is history! We married in 2003 following a surprise proposal on the Brooklyn Bridge. We spent the first four years of our marriage in Salem before we decided we needed to be closer to our jobs and our wonderful friends! We kept our Salem home as a rental and moved to Portland. Fall of 2007, immediately following a trip to Europe, we were blessed with the news that a baby was on the way. Naturally, we decided to buy a fixer and do a complete remodel! We were able to move in just a few weeks prior to the birth of our son. Collin arrived July 2008 and we discovered the true joy of life! We absolutely loved being parents and didn’t waste any time giving Collin a sibling. Eighteen months later, in January 2010, our sweet Avery joined the family. As Avery’s first birthday was approaching, Dave was presented with the opportunity to work on an Intel project in Ireland, which brings us to the present day, and the reason for this blog. We hope to chronicle our Ireland adventure to share with friends and family! Thanks for joining us!! |
